What counts as an action?
An action is any event you record to Empress—agent decisions, tool calls, API requests, or any xAPI statement. You control what gets recorded, so you only pay for what matters.
What compliance standards do you support?
Platform tier and above includes one-click reports for SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and EU AI Act. Reports are generated from your audit trail and can be exported for auditors.
Can I self-host Empress?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan. We provide Docker images and Kubernetes manifests for deployment in your own infrastructure with full data sovereignty.
What happens if I exceed my action limit?
We'll notify you before you hit your limit. You can upgrade anytime, or we can add overage at $0.001 per additional action. We never stop recording without warning.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Platform and Operations plans include a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card required to start.
How is Empress different from Langfuse or DataDog?
